Learning from the past, looking to the future

After 27 years of working with financial advisors, here’s a key insight I’ve learned: very few clients are mind readers. For clients to feel valued, you have to make a point of letting them know and to add value regularly. An adviser of choice constantly focuses on education.

Communicating with clients in December and January is just so powerful; we are visiting friends, relatives and often traveling on holiday, our mind is open, and we all talk a lot. That’s where word of mouth and great content comes in 🙂

Over this period we think about health, finance and getting our house in order. We also have the time to reflect on the year that was and look forward to a prosperous year ahead.

Client concerns about whether you’re on top of things can be massively reduced by sending regular overviews of what’s happened in the immediate past and the outlook for the period ahead. That’s a great retention strategy.

What does all this mean? Well, there is no better time to get started with Feedsy to get your Christmas message out and for the automation to continue into the new year.

Proactive communication with clients is always important – but never more than when uncertainty dominates the media headlines and the festive season is approaching.

If you would like a refresher on Feedsy or have any questions, please let me know so that we can catch up face to face or speak via video conference.
